At Newark Educators Community Charter School (NECCS), we understand the importance of coming together as a community to ensure all families enjoy a warm and joyful holiday season. This Thanksgiving, NECCS proudly partnered with the Community Food Bank of New Jersey and Pleasant Grove Baptist Church to make this time of year extra special for our families.

Through this partnership, we provided turkeys and food boxes packed with essential items to help families prepare delicious Thanksgiving meals. The packages included staple foods such as milk, eggs, canned goods, fresh potatoes, and other holiday essentials. Thanks to the generosity of our community partners, families can gather around the table and create cherished memories without worrying about their holiday meal.

The NECCS team was thrilled to distribute these holiday gifts in our signature blue bags, which reflect the school’s dedication to serving our students and their families. This initiative is a testament to the strength of collaboration and the spirit of giving that defines the NECCS community.
