In honor of Fire Prevention Day, Newark Educators Community Charter School proudly welcomed members of the Newark Fire Department for an engaging and educational visit.

Students learned valuable lessons about fire safety, emergency preparedness, and the importance of quick thinking in dangerous situations. Firefighters demonstrated their equipment, explained how they respond to emergencies, and emphasized how every student can play a role in keeping their home and community safe.

The highlight of the day was seeing the fire truck up close, which sparked excitement and curiosity among students of all grades.

We are grateful to the Newark Fire Department for taking the time to educate and inspire our students, reminding us all that fire safety starts with awareness and preparedness.
