On February 2, 2022 NECCS celebrated World Read Aloud Day (WRAD). WRAD is celebrated annually on the first Wednesday in February. It is a special day for celebrating the power of literacy and community. WRAD is a day much enjoyed by students and the school community as a day we all come together to read, collaborate and have conversations about books. NECCS students enjoyed books read by the administrative team and school staff during the morning and afternoon announcements as well as throughout the day in their classrooms. World Read Aloud Day demonstrates the magic that enriches a child’s world when they are read to.
